particulars enclosed.

4. The scale of salary of the post,

which, it will be noticed, has been altered from £270

rising to £360 by triennial increments of £30 to £300

rising to £345 by triennial increments of £15, is in ac-

-cordance with the logical extension of the Grading Scheme

to Junior Officers on the lines indicated in paragraph 6

of my Confidential Despatch of the 5th. August last.
